The Role

If you love to develop marketing strategies, create demand and accelerate customer acquisition for a B2B cloud technology company, we want to speak with you. We are looking for an energetic, analytical, highly efficient, and detail-oriented Marketing Executive to drive effective marketing campaigns and programs that generate leads and opportunities across the UK. 

This role covers the full marketing mix, so if your passion is creating and delivering a marketing strategy utilising various avenues of creative outreaches and campaigns, whilst partnering with the business and senior managers to enable growth then it’s a yes from us!

What will your role be?

To work within the Sales and Marketing team at Fortay, carrying out marketing activity in line with the annual plan. Role will include;

  • Coordinate territory planning and execution with sales and marketing stakeholders to build an event and campaign calendar to increase awareness, drive engagement, generate leads, increase conversion rates, and drive value for our prospects.
  • Management of the CRM system and data strategy, analysing this information to segment and target specific groups.
  • Inbound marketing management such as building email campaigns, automating workflows and delivering reporting.
  • Overseeing the organisation of events such as dinners, webinars, networking events and conferences.
  • Writing content such as ebooks, blog posts, press releases, case studies and newsletters.
  • Online research and compiling reports on firms, competitors, industry trends and news.
  • Research industry events and marketing/campaign opportunities and evaluate sponsorship based on Fortay’s objectives and target audience.
  • Lead pipeline tracking and ensuring that CRM data is kept up to date by the sales team.
  • Ensuring the achievement of set KPIs by increasing pipeline for Fortay.

What are we looking for? 

  • 2+ years of working with a Sales and Marketing team (preferably within a technology company) delivering different types of events (1:1, roundtable, keynote, webinars).
  • Have experience working in lead acquisition and marketing campaign roles with quantifiable success metrics attached to them.
  • Understanding of CRM management, marketing automation and inbound techniques, preferably also with experience of Zoho and Hubspot platforms.
  • Demonstrated experience of running Account-Based Marketing (ABM) campaigns.
  • Ability to analyse and leverage data to create targeted campaigns, setting performance metrics to track success.
  • Well developed written communication skills with the ability to produce high quality campaigns and content.
  • Proven ability to work independently on projects, with the support of external agencies, ensuring they are completed on time and to a high standard.

Not essential but beneficial; 

  • Experience of working within a scale up technology company where self discovery and motivation are required.
  • Experience within the tech sector and an understanding of UcaaS & CcaaS.
  • Direct Mail logistics experience.
  • Some experience working with marketing automation systems like Zoho and HubSpot.
  • Degree-level qualification or similar.
